So I have a million and one feelings going through my head these days.... nervous, anxious, excited, fearful, out-of-my-comfort zone, did I mention nervous?
Besides the 'list' of things I need to accomplish by next week, I have to keep telling myself that God has blessed me with this opportunity, and I need to embrace it with true happiness and excitement!

Random thoughts about how this all came to be!
Wow, where do I begin? I applied for a general leave from work last year, as I felt a 'calling' to go back to Africa to continue with my mission work. In the summer of 2007, I embarked on the most amazing journey of a lifetime, to Kenya, and returned a different person.
Ever since then, I've felt like my work in Africa is not complete. So, an orphanage in Uganda has been pulling me to come. I've applied to work there for May and June, however, am still waiting to see if I have been accepted, as the application process is quite lengthy. I've put all my eggs into this basket, and hope that it works out. But really, if it doesn't, I know that everything will work out and I will end up where I am supposed to be, even if it's not in Uganda.
I've tried thinking about how I should record this lifetime experience, and someone at work suggested 'blogging...' which I wasn't too sure about. But pretty much, I see it as online journaling, which I can handle. I think it will be great for many of the phenomenal people in my life to follow me on this journey.
